My Favorite House In Historic Charleston

from the archives

This house at the corner of Battery and Atlantic Streets, in Charleston, SC... was my favourite house in the historic district of the city because of its architecture...
it has a rectangular entrance with a flat roof... beside it is this beautiful three storey turret with a veranda on the roof...  there are a long verandas on the seaward side of the house to allow the breeze to cool it in summer, leading to another turret on the back left corner as well.
