I am not familiar with that design of sign, Peter.
....peter:): the black and orange sing means that the road that you are on is at it's end Ray... and it's telling the drivers to slow down and to stop....petersmile
I take it the orange sign is telling you to go left or right!
....peter:): that's the reason Elizabeth... it indicates that the HWY you are on comes to an end and you have to make a stop....petersmile

Very interesting Peter. Do you need to be told which way is East or West?
....peter:): the HWY 655 has come to and end and there are a lot of curves on it Chris... when you get there... you have a 50% chance of being wronggrin
....petersmile
Looks like it's either right or left, so you can't go wrong, Peter, right? smile
....peter:): there is a 50% chance of being wrong Ginniegrin
....petersmile
I am not used to straight roads Peter grin
....peter:): either am i Bill... they try to build the HWY's along the railroad lines so there are some straight sections to it....petersmile

It must be difficult to live with so many months of the year, Peter
....peter:): we find ways to keep busy during the winter Lisl... Penny goes curling 2 days a week and two old folks chair Yoga classes... she also makes jigsaw puzzles during the days Lisl...
my mobility is limited because of my home oxygen but i use the portable tanks to get to town and catch some of the grands hockey games... and we even get down to Sudbury and back a few times... i ride a stationary bike every day to keep in shape... i also spend a lot of time on SC... it's even nice just to look out the windows to see the patterns in the snow... life is good!

The snow is a sight we seldom see Peter.
....peter:): the snow is very beautiful Chad... but there are times that i wish that our winters were shorter....petersmile
The signs are a colorful change in an otherwise monochrome location... Nicely captured, Peter... 🙂
....peter:): thanks for dropping in Sudipto... it was snowing quite a lot that day... a bit of colour means that you are getting closer to a town....petersmile

....peter:): Penny was driving and we check left and right then off she goes Louis... i almost missed the picture of the signs....petersmile

Well at least the signs are still above the snow, Peter and one has to know West from East.....
....peter:): the signs are above the snow lines Astrid... but if you look closely they are also plastered with some snow....petersmile

brrr, it looks so cold
....peter:): it was a rather cool day Sherri... it was only -10°C... today it's down to -20°C... it's great to be a northerner....petersmile
Plenty of directions..........that would suit me just fine, Peter! smile My sense of direction is easily lost :-D
