Tu as eu beaucoup de chance de voir ce premier pont de métal du monde. Je ne savais pas du tout où il pouvait être. Merci pour la note informative et les beaux détails de ce pont.
Bisous pour 3

It is a wonderful thing Peter. Ironbridge has had a terrible time recently, firstly with floods and now with the cover 19 crisis. Happily the bridge withstood the floods
....peter:): it's sad to hear of the flooding in the gorge Bill... as for the COVID-19... it has thrown the world in a tailspin....petersmile

This bridge is amazing! Judging by the age, iron was the right choice.

....peter:): it's a most appealing feat of engineering back in 1779 Ayush....petersmile
Wow! Very old. I am wondering if cast iron would last in our climate spends some time in the -20C range.
....peter:): it would even last up here where we get -40C range Care... and it's a beautiful feat of engineering... more pictures to come....petersmile
Nice set of pictures Peter.
