It's slightly incongruous to be sat there, on a boulder, in your shorts, surrounded by snow, ice, and glacial deposits, Peter! The reward for all that climbing I suspect! grin
....peter:): Hi Alexandra...the rewards for all that climbing were well worth the effort... besides i needed the rest.... as for the shorts's great to be a Northernergrinsmile
Here is a wider view of the glacier lake:
Hello P & P - nice to see you welcoming me back! Great shot.

Great looking place, plenty of ice for the G&T
....peter:): Thank you very much John....there was a lot of ice for the G&T....but i would have needed and ice pick...and a cold swim to get to that pure crystal ice flow over Penny's right shoulder is a closer look at it:
and i would have also had to pack the G&T (and a good glass) up the to that glacier lakegrin....petersmile
You two are so cute. I like the wider view of the Glacier too. It really gives one a true perspective of the place.
....peter:): Thank you very much Jacquelyn we loved your 'cute' remarksmile.... i received a lot of comments about sitting so close to ice and snow in shorts and sandals lol... i just told them that it's great to live in the Northern Canadasmile ....
This is a much wider view of the Glacier Lake that includes much more of the glacier ....i think that you might like it:
